Built from the BACB TCO · 2026 3rd Edition

Practice the exam the way BACB writes it.

Most RBT prep is generic term drills. RBT3 Practice Test is built domain-by-domain from the official 3rd Edition Test Content Outline — scenario questions, a rationale on every answer, find your weak areas, then simulate the real 90-minute timed exam.

Built like a real assessment, not a question dump. Every test is statistically checked before it ships — no length-cue shortcuts, no answer-pattern hacks, no padding.

Why this exists

Most RBT prep teaches you to recognize terms. The exam tests whether you can apply them.

The 3rd Edition RBT exam is scenario-based. A question doesn't ask "What is discrete-trial teaching?" It describes a session where a behavior technician is implementing a procedure, and asks you to identify what they're doing — or what they should do next.

That distinction matters because the most common failure pattern on the RBT isn't "I didn't know the term." It's "I knew the term but picked the wrong answer because the scenario looked like two different procedures."

RBT3 Practice Test is built to close that gap. Every question is a clinical scenario. Every distractor is a real mistake a partially-prepared candidate would make. The prep feels hard because the exam is hard — and that's the point.

What's inside

Eight mocks. Terminology flashcards. One purchase.

No video courses, no 200-page guide. One purchase gives you 8 mock exams and a terminology flashcard deck — the kind of practice that moves your score.

Mock exams

8 full-length tests, 85 questions each (75 scored + 10 pilot), every domain at the TCO's published weights:

  • Behavior Acquisition25% · 19
  • Behavior Reduction19% · 14
  • Data Collection and Graphing17% · 13
  • Ethics15% · 11
  • Documentation and Reporting13% · 10
  • Behavior Assessment11% · 8

Terminology flashcards

110 terminology-only cards — the discrete facts that slip away three weeks after you read them: the difference between DRO and DRA, the four functions of behavior, what "momentary time sampling" actually measures, positive vs negative punishment.

Organized by domain, so you drill exactly where your mock scores say you're weakest.

Under the hood

Built like a real assessment, not a question dump.

TCO-anchored

Every question maps to a specific task in the BACB 3rd Edition Test Content Outline. No off-TCO content, no padding.

Scenario-based by default

A technician in a session, a data pattern on a graph, an ethical supervision call. You practice reading scenarios because that's exam day.

Heuristic-resistant

Each mock is statistically checked so shortcuts — longest answer, letter-defaulting — don't work.

Full rationales

Why the correct answer is correct, and why each wrong answer is wrong. The rationale teaches; the question tests.

AI study tutor

Stuck on a rationale? Tap Explain and a Claude-powered tutor breaks it down in plain language.

Domain mastery tracking

Every question updates your domain profile, color-coded so you know where to focus next.
